I saw one that went on for weeks about what should be in the pockets of your battledress.

its why i get annoyed when the term 'sttch counting ' is stupidly bandied about by folk who've not come across true obsessive detialers who will tel you that you're badges are on wrong os the whermacht uses diagonal machine stitch and s not a straight stitch.

Note of caution here - reproduction of copyright material ain't a good idea I'm afraid, and it's me that will be sued.

Just the odd small repro is OK when illustrating a point where the source is named in full and 'fair use' can be argued...

These were from mp.net, and I did mention the series as well as the producer. From the interior of the cover of one of the books which the sets were from, we are allowed "any fair dealing for the purpose of private study, research, criticism, or review, as permitted under the Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act, 1988". I think it's alright as the images have been used for the above purposes only...

I have already removed other large scale scans from this thread and wasn't directly refering to yours Neo, just stemming a potential flood of more scans!

However, as you state, 'fair use' can only be argued (in court!) in context of review, not 'here are some cool scans' published on a forum accessed by the rest of the world and not by any stretch of the imagination 'private use'. Still, there was an element of criticism!

Anyhoo, here endeth the heads-up - future gratuitus copyright breaches by any poster will be removed without a by-your-leave or apology.

Blummin' 'eck! I drive right past Osprey Publishing HQ every day and I didn't notice!!! They're to the west side of Oxford City. I hope they have a 'factory shop' or 'secretary sales'. :)
